The most preferred hair transplant method for the treatment of hair loss causing baldness is the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method.
FUE method is the transplant of healthy hair follicles extracted one by one from the area identified as donor area to the hairless areas. In FUE method, it is quite feasible to take hair follicles from any part of the body with healthy hair follicles.
In the process performed under local anesthesia, first of all, hair and follicular units are extracted under the microscope by the custom designed micro-needles. Upon the completion of the extraction process, transplant process shall then be initiated. First of all, the recipient area subject to hair transplant is anesthetized by local anesthesia and hair follicles are transplanted one by one into the passages created in the forms of imperceptible marks.
In FUE method, no incisions and stitches are performed on the donor area, only minor bruises occur. The recovery period in post operation process is quite fast for the donor area and the transplanted area. Hair that is lost within the first month after the transplant process starts to grow within 2-3 months. Hair transplanted by FUE method shall have a more intense and aesthetic appearance in comparison with other conventional methods.
